connection problems

I have a Panasonic NVDS65 camera, am using Windows XP and connecting via a firewire cable from camera to pc. I have edited my video using Windows movie maker and now want to record it back to my camera so I can transfer it to a video through my tv.

My pc won't recognise my camera and Panasonic said I must have Motion DV Studio 4.7 video editing software installed on my pc for the camera to be recognised. I doubt this as the pc should recognise any camera. Does any one else have the same problem?

thanks

Do you have the camera in 'VCR' mode ?
What format is the video you are trying to send back to your camcorder - it has to be a DV-AVI file. Almost any other video editing software will also do it - nearly all are not camera specific.

Have a look at www.papajohn.org an independant website run solely to help people having problems with MMM2.
