Ulead Video Studio 8 & Win.ME

Hi All,

I have just purchased ULVS8 and have tried on at least 8 occasions to install it into Windows ME but after installation it 'freezes'. My local Computer Shop has also tried on several occasions but again it freezes for them. I have carried out the recommendations for clearing the temp. files etc. without success. Has anyone else come across this problem with ULVS8 and Windows ME and if so how did they cure the problem? Many thanks in advance.

Dennis

I see in your post on the ulead site that someone has suggested that it may be because you do not have the latest version of DirectX installed, when you installed the programmme did you also instal all the "Utilities" like Realplayer - quicktime and DirectX etc. VideoStudio needs the latest versions of all these to function.

Lightbulb VS 8 & Win ME

Please note that Ulead has posted a patch, 8.01 for this software that might help you.

I had an issue with it on my Win XP machine, but 8.01 correct it.
