Question Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 Books/Videos/DVDs

I'm after a complete idiot's guide to this software and have narrowed down my choices to two books; Adobe Premiere Pro For Dummies, and Adobe Premiere Pro Bible. Would the information in these books be relevent to the latest edition, Premiere Pro 1.5? If not, any other suggestions? Thanks.

WWW.PLANETDV.NET do an instructional DVD aimed at beginners which might be useful. It's £22 for 72 minutes. Does anyone know if it's any good?

Prem Pro Book

I don't think there is a huge difference between 1.0 and 1.5 when it comes to 'learning' the software, 1.5 just has a few enhancements. So far as the best books to get, I found Sams Publishing very helpful - their books are really easy to follow. This is a link to their Prem Pro book I used:

Hi Joe

In contradiction to my post in another thread about Premiere Pro 1.5 book, the book I have and recommend is the Premiere Pro For Windows, here
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...543495-2018843

It's an easy read, well laid out and organised like a reference book so it is easy to read front-to-back and also later dip in to find out how to do a specific thing.
