firewire cable to connect to laptop

I have been using my camcorder and pc at home to capture video via the firewire card. The cable has a small jack that plugs into the camcorder and a larger jack that goes into the firewire card.

I have recently bought a laptop computer with built-in firewire card. However, the socket is a small one, unlike the larger socket on the firewire card in my pc. How do I connect my camcorder to the laptop?
