I'm thinking of purchasing a Jvc GR-D93 camcorder and I've read conflicting specifications, could anyone confirm these couple of points.

1 does it have analogue to digital conversion with pass through?

2 can you record movie to the memory card or just stills?

3 Wheres the best place to buy from in the UK!!!

Yes - but youi need an extra adapter - this wasn't clear and caused me a lot of headaches trying to get it to work without it

Not sure - haven't tried. You can move frames from the tape to the SD card as stills but not sure about recording ot card...why would you want to do this ?

Try pricerunner.co.uk or dealtime.co.uk - I got it for £395 but I'm sure it'll be nearer £375 now. Nice bit of kit by the way !

Thanks for the reply. What is the adapter that you need to use the pass through? Whats it like filming indoors with the cam in lowish light? Also how long does the battery last? Any good or bad points would be appreciated.!
