Firewire problem

Is a driver required for the firewire card? Mine did not come with one, and it is not working with my camcorder...

Can you explain how ? I'm getting no where fast with one I've just brought. Where do I dind the drivers etc ?

What operating system are you using - if windows XP all drivers required are already on your computer.

Yes that's what I understand but even so I am unable to get the card working as I get a this device cannot start Code 10) error msg in device manager. Though it seems it's the card anyway. Others also have had the same problem :- http://forums.viaarena.com/messagevi...threadid=48175
