Buying new camcorder but I NEED LANC...

I am looking to buy a DV camcorder something under $500. I like the sony and canons but need a lanc jack. Does any of the new dv cameras have this?

Only Sony fit lank and DV IEEE sockets. It was developed by Sony, for Sony

Sony did develop lanc but other companies have put it on there cameras. I know the older opturas and zr had it but I'm looking to buy a new camera.

Just wondering if any of the new canons have the lanc jack.

Do all the new sonys have lanc jacks?

The easiest way to check is to to a price compare at pricerunner.
List all Canon cams, tick boxs of the interesting ones, click compare, then click on specs for each cam.
