Canon XM1 ICF removal

Question Canon XM1 ICF removal
Hi there,
Does anybody know how to remove the ICF from this camcorder. I has a burned out pixel so replacing the CCD's would cost more than the cam's worth so I want to convert it to infrar red shooting night wild life.
