tape

how much is a tape for a digital camera and how much can you record on it???

Less than £2 for a miniDV tape if you shop online or up to £8 if you pay high street prices.

A standard tape is 60 minutes although in long play mode, this increases to 90.

As stated above the most common consumer digital camcorder format is the miniDV. There are also 2 others that are only used by Sony. They are the MicroMV and Digital8. AFAIK they both last the same as miniDV but the tapes tend to be more expensive and more difficault to find.
