Hi. I just bought that camera for personal purposes. I already worked with a miniDV JVC camera and I kinda liked the quality that that came from it.

The reason why I am posting this today is because I really find the Panasonic having a poor video quality. I tought that this kind of hard disk drive camera would give me a comparable video quality. Instead, I wondered if I bought a Hi8 camera... Just look at this sample video I made just to show you how it is.

It is a mpeg video that had no edition from me.

I just wonder if the is normal or this camera is faulty?

Panasonic SDR-H80 review from TechRadar UK's expert reviews of Camcorders Some outdoor footage as well would have helped,it is well known SD HDD cams do not have as good a PQ performance as MINI DV.
