Right, just closed my wedding video business and looking to replace my two Sony FX1's & HC1 with a camcorder that the wife can use and is very simple to use.

As I have been used to MiniDV and different forms of tape stock, over the years I have amassed far to many DV tapes, now technology will permit us store & archive video on external hard drives that are reasonably priced, this now becomes a finacially viable alternative method to archiving material.

Not being used to the new formats HDD & AVCHD I was wondering if someone could reccomend, or point me in the way of a suitable 3ccd camcorder.
