I agree with you on this, ive odered a nikon d5000 with 18-55mm vr lens...
guess what???
they've taken my £477.95 pounds that i have been saving, and not even put anything in my outstanding orders or order history, although i do have an email from them saying ive placed the oder.I sent an email to vanessa explaining my problem, i must admit that im being slightly impatient, although im worried after seeing all of the 1* rated negative feedback.
Heres my email ive sent to vanessa... i appologize if it makes no sence im young and fustrated
"Dear Vanessa,
I’ve recently gotten a friend to purchase my Christmas present for me via simplyelecronics.net, I was stunned by the reasonable price of the NIKON D5000, I created a account followed by placing my order, and purchasing it. Then I found that it has not appeared in my order list(unsure of correct directory), although my friend did have a confirmation via email with the item Tracking id (the bunch of numbers used to find youre order), that the item had been purchased, I’m not currently able to access that evidence at this time as it is obviously set up in someone else’s name both account and email, also the £477.95 for my order has been withdrawed from her bank account, if I do not get a response within one week (note that i also paid for express delivery)
I WILL be taking this further to trading standards and if this is still not resolved I shall contact credit card fraud investigation, I apologize for my negative rants, although I paid for this with my own money (aged 14) and I’m very disappointed with this happening.
Regards E. Edwards
(PS I shall send the item order number tomorrow as i currently do not have access to communicate with the account holder)"
Just hope that i dont get into the kind of problems you guys and girls have had with the endless weeks of no communication or the famous "DAMAGED BOX, MUST BE RETURNED" im 99% sure this is going to happen, oh well looks as though there isnt going to be a christmas for me...
I ADVISE ALL FELLOW "BUYERS" NOT TO PURCHACE FROM SIMPLYELECTRONICS.NET
