Archos 604

Hi guys,

First of appologies if this is not the best section to ask this question but seemed the best one to me!!

I'm in the market for a recording device for my external bullet camera. I use the camera mostly on my motorbike and need a recording device that i can view the video on aswell as store it and transfer it to my laptop. I like the look of the Archos 604 and the 30gb memory should be plenty to hold many hours of tracktime!! It has the added bonus of being usuable for holiday trips etc.... to watch movies on!

My real questions are 1)- does the 604 have an AV in facility, to enable me to use the external camera?
2)- would the vibration cause damage to the unit? (if so i can keep it in my pocket!)
3)- If this is not suitable, would you be able to recommend a similar device that would be??
