free camcorder

okay, i'm looking to get my self a decent camera, but it's going to take a while to save the penny's, if some one has an old camera in the back of a wardrobe which isn't being used could i maybe buy it off you for a little bit of money, so i can do a bit of filming till i get a good camera, a.k.a canon xl1(if anyone got one which their meaning to sell, plz tell me)

Why?
If you need a camcorder and can only afford a little surely, that would be what you offer rather than ask for a free one from ( as it happens) absolute strangers

Most HDD will be relatively new and even MiniDV ones if they work should not be ancient but were obviously high value items when they were originally purchased
Car boot sales or "markets" would be a good place to start

You have stated in previous threads a budget of £300..that has now gone to zero??

LMAO, I have a top spec Panasonic but it only saves to P2HD cards, will that be ok? You could sell it quick for at least £2k and then buy a mini dv camera and have plenty of change.

What a joke. If you are genuine, post a wanted ad in the classifieds but I seriously doubt anyone would give a total stranger a perfectly working camera for FREE. Best bet is to save what you can and check local cash convertor stores or ebay etc.
