I've been searching the net trying to find the definative answer to this but had no luck so really hoping someone here can help.

I have a Sony HDR/TG3E and when I output the video as an MPG file, I get MODD and MOFF files with it.

The problem comes when I try to open the MPG files in Adobe Premiere as I get no sound

If I output to WMV files, I get the sound in Premiere but lose video quality, so I would much prefer to be editting the MPG files.

Can anyone suggest how I can get sound in Premiere with the MPG files? I'm assuming I need to bring the Modd or Moff files in with it but don't know how. (I get sound with the MPG files if I open them in WMP, VLC real player etc.

Possible work around, use vlcplayer to output the audio as a wav file. Add the audio to premiere on a new audio track.
