S-Video Cable

I have a Sony TRV-22 and i would like some advice on whether or not it is worth buying an S-video cable for playing back on my Sony widescreen tv. Does it give better picture quality than the cable supplied with the camcorder?

Any advice would be appreciated.

An S-Video cable will give a better picture (subject to your TV being ok of course!) but as to how much better is debatable. It is also down to the quality of the cable you use.

How big is the screen? If you only have a fairly small screen the noticeable difference will be very small. Also if copying to a VCR you will not be able to use this cable unless you have a S-VHS VCR so will not get any advantage there.

Mark.
