JVC GR-D70 or sony trv 33

im going to get either of the 2 JVC GR-D70 or sony trv 33 the jvc is about £200 cheaper and has 16x zoom whereas the sony only has a 10x zoom does this matter would i be better witha stronger zoom thanks
im completely new to this so any help appreciated

I cant comment on the JVC but I own the Sony and think its a really good bit of kit.
