Panasonic HDC-HS9 & HDWRITER

HI,

I am trying to view my images using the HD WRITER software (version 2.5E) which is supplied with the camcorder. I have tried to change the location of the folder of where the images are stored, but the software keeps telling me that there is no HDWRITER folder available on the camcorder.

Please can someone assist me in to load my images (recordings) onto the software.

Regards

Re: Panasonic HDC-HS9 & HDWRITER

I don't use HD writer now, but from memory I used a USB SD card reader to import the files onto my PC and it seemed very straightforward. Are you connecting the camera directly to the PC?

HD writer is ok as a starting point, but I found it so basic that I missed the functions I was used to with my previous (SD) editting software. I downloaded the 30 day demo of Videostudio x2 and I've since paid for the licence as it seems to work well on my modest PC (CoreDuo E6300 overclocked to 2.4 to 2.8Ghz depending on settings).

Re: Panasonic HDC-HS9 & HDWRITER

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the information. I have now copied all the folders/files onto the PC and placed them under a folder called HDWRITER but when I start the HD WRITER it ask for the HDWRITER folder. The problem is that I am not sure which folder to specify in order to see all the images.

Please can you help?

Regards
