| New Member | Best bit rate to encode edited HD video to for tv playback
Hi I will be editing some AVCHD files soon filmed at maximum 1080p bitrate on my panasonic SD200 camcorder. I was wondering what the bit rate to encode these to after editing. Playback will be on 1080p plasma and lcd telly - home movie stuff only i.e. nothing commercial. I figured if maximum bit rate is overkill, and some lower bit rate is just as good to use, I might be able to get away with burning my videos to DVD-R rather than having to buy a Blu-Ray burner and expensive media! Thanks Dub Last edited by dubcat; 19-08-2009 at 12:45 PM. |
