Cable Quality

If I'm looking to record from my camcorder to my dvd recorder via a DV/Firewire cable, are there different qualities of cable?

As far as I'm aware, there shouldn't be any differences in cables as we're talking about a digital signal here. All the cable in transmitting is a series of 1's and 0's. This is why digital is so good because there is no loss of quality.

With analogue, resistance in the cables can cause a degredation in the quality which is why there are varying qualities of cables available.
