Camcorder With Night Vision

Hi everyone.

I would like a Camcorder with Nightvision. I have just bought Sky + and a DVD Recorder so funds are at an almighty low!! I have seen a Sony TRV218 at Staples for £279.99. Is that a good camcorder? Is the night vision good on it? I want to be able to film in complete darkness when I'm outside for example.

I have a a Sony night vision enabled DV cam. The range will be short as all night vision stuff that is for consumer, unless you spend A LOT to get decent range.
