Hi All,

I recently brought a new sony cx105e HD camcorder. On holiday I'll be saving the avchd files onto my laptop hard drive which is a pc. I want to be able to come home and import them into imovie 08 for editing. Problem is I've tried just that but imovie 08 doesn't recognise the files. It will only capture it straight from cam. Seems rather unusual that it'll do this but not recognise the raw files...What am I doing wrong? Could anyone provide any suggestions as to how I can save the avchd files on my camera to my pc in a way in which I could later move it to imovie for editing???
