Problem with SD Card...please help!

Hi all,

I have a JVC Everio GZ-MS90EK that seems to be working ok and a 8GB Transcend SD HC Class 6 card. I can play the video footage on my JVC camcorders screen but when I try to open up the card contents via my usb card reader the following error message comes up:

Quote:
E:\ is not accessable
The
request could not be performed because of a I/O device error
Also when I try to open the card the computer seems to hang for about 1 min with the hour-glass churning away until eventually the error message comes up.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks

Some USB card readers won't work with SDHC cards, just SD. Have you had any problems reading other SDHC cards with your device?
You could also try connecting the camera directly to your pc via USB (if possible) and transfer the data to your pc that way.
