Hi! Excuse me - I don`t speak English well (I live in eastern Europe). I need Your advice - which of the camcorders is better? Samsung probably does not support AVCHD. Is this important? And the next question - I`m not sure if my computer is strong enough to convert HD material (Core2Duo 1,86 GHz, 3GB Ram, GeForce 7600GT).

Wrong , it does
The HMX20 is quite good and does shoot AVCHD. The Sony CX105 is newer though and subjectively better reviewed. Buy based on your pocket..

Convert to what?
Your PC is a litle underpowered for AVCHD playback and editing although with software like Nero Vision of Sony Vegas ( or Mvie studio) it may do wel with more modest PCs
