Sanyo Xacti CG10 on QVC

Hi, just seen the Sanyo Xacti CG10 on QVC and was impressed by what I saw, does anyone have any thoughts on this camcorder??

Also, we currently have an old mini dv camcorder which is a bit embarassing nowadays due to its size but its does a great job and all it needs is a new battery, would you say we are better of just getting a new battery and sticking with that instead up buying a camcorder in the cheaper price bracket|
