Sony HDR-TG3 vs. Sony HDR-TG7

I've fallen into a common trap today - I saw some article about the Kodak Zx1 and remembered how I had wanted a HD camcorder for my trips. I then read about the horrible motion compensation (i.e. none) of all those mini cameras and "upgraded" mentally to a Sanyo Xacti HD2000. But then I read that motion compensation on that one is *still* really bad so I ended up at the most expensive choice, a Sony HDR-TG7.

I'd be interested in opinions as to that one is worth the extra money, especially considering the predecessor HDR-TG3 is 200 to 300 quid cheaper (although with cashback the HDR-TG7 can be as cheap as 549£, which seems to be a good deal). Is there much of a difference between the two in terms of image quality? Is there any review out there that compares the two, or ANY review really of the TG7?

And should I maybe cut my losses and just go back to the cheap and cheerful Zx1? I don't have major movie ambitions, I just found that I used the VGA video mode of my Finepix more often that I had thought...

Many thanks!
