Sony, Panasonic and or Cannon HD Camcorder

Hi All,

I am currently undecided about a Hard Disk Camcorder. Not bothered about HDD but would like a good standard camcorder. Would like a Panasonic, Sony and or Cannon. Does any one know what the best camcorder is out there for Circa £250. One with the most memory and that will record good quality pictures, even in suspect light?

Cheers

Mark

I'd be interested in this as well.

Looking at about £300 and seen PC World do the Panny SD20 for £299 but out of stock (shock!)

Re: Sony, Panasonic and or Cannon HD Camcorder

Might be a little above your budget, but there was a noticeable difference between the Panasonic HDC20 and Canon HG20 I tried together recently. The Canon was much better picture quality - clearer, better colour, better in lower light, etc. Even the Mrs could tell the difference
