Its worth £50
But the issue ofa fish-eye adaptor may be something else: It may either not be available or cost more than the camera itself
It is a simple VFM MiniDV camcorder with no pretensions therefore the provision of the likes of lens adaptors may not have been included in its design concept

Basic but good Piont and shoot MiniDv camcorder
Dont expect a freebeee tape , editing software or firewire cable to be included and dont expect the battery to last uou hrs and hrs ,
Its Image stabilisation is electronic and wide angle range limiting
otherwise.. its fine
I would expect all those " negatives" to be the same for most camcorders in this price range ( regardless of brand) so it probably no use shopping for better unless you up your budget or change your spec list
You could do worse for a small basic decent quality video camcorder

the guy i might be getting it off is giving 2 free tapes and a firewire cable.
the specs on the site says 14hrs shooting on 1 battery whcih i probably wont need in one day, but ill porbabbly buy a spare battery and fully charge it everytime i go out. i've got sony vegas pro 8 on my pc, and i and hopefully getting a fisheye if you look at my other thread

Re: canon md101, any good?

Tapes are cheap - if the ones that come with the camcorder have been used already then ditch 'em or keep them only as emergency back-ups.

The fisheye lens adapter you mention in your other thread sounds like it will fit (assuming both camcorder and fisheye adapter use a 25mm thread) but I can't vouch for it's quality.
