Best bang for buck? Panasonic HDC-TM10 ?

Hi, I'm looking for an HD camcorder that gives me the best quality. I'm not after features or gimmicks or big zoom just great optics and sensor.
I don't bother to edit the video either so that doesn't need to be taken into account.
Max 500GBP.

I suppose at this price point DOF effects are out of the window?

I'll be viewing on LG 32PG6000 if that helps at all?

Re: Best bang for buck? Panasonic HDC-TM10 ?

So how much difference would I notice between the HDC-SD200 and the HDC-TM10 ?

Re: Best bang for buck? Panasonic HDC-TM10 ?

You sounded desparate judging by the number of posts in that short space of time! IMHO, the best bang for buck is the Sanyo HD2000 that gives you the highest quality (consumer level) at 1080p, progressive. Povided you have steady hands since the major weakness is the EIS as opposed to OIS on the other brands. Great for viewing directly on HDTV. Test it out with the rest to see if it is OK for you.
