video capture

Im looking for a program that will capture my digital and analog camcorder. I have easycap that works good for taking the videos off the analog one. I need one that will capture the video streaming like a Surveillance camera.

Or if anyone can tell me why the easycap capture is in bad color?, mostly green (no matter how i sent the color and contrast) there is a video there but it wont come in good.

The free media player VLC (VideoLan) has so much added in it can probably do what you require. I'd suggest to take a look.

Re: video capture

VLC is a media player, not a video capture programme. It only handles video already in one file format or another.

To the OP: check that your capture setting in EasyCap match your source footage, especially as far as frame rate is concerned, on the off chance that you have a PAL/NTSC incompatibility problem - it may not be this, but worth ruling out to start with. Hard to say without seeing an example.
