Bought one of these today.

Taking it back tomorrow.

It's good, i'll admit, for £149 it's not too bad at all. The sound is clear and crisp and the video quality is good, but nothing to write home about to be honest.

I was trying to film some products for computers on a white polyurethane sheet and upon using the exposure to get a crisp white background, i was degrading the quality of the products i was filming. Mainly with text on the products.

I'm quite dissapointed because the quality on my Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 HD webcam is better especially when it comes to exposure due to having more settings including custom white balancing and gain.

The camcorder only had preset white balancing and pre set exposures of .5 increments.
