Canon NVGS-50 Transfer to HArd disk

Canon NVGS-50 Transfer to HArd disk
Hi Got my Canon NVGS-50 Video camera here, need to transfer data to hardisk but of course sh't Vista doesn't recognise it

Any idea where i get a driver for USB connection or how can i use the mini Dv/firewire port?

Do you mean Panasonic NV-GS50?

In any case, if it's a tape-based camcorder, you'll need to use FireWire to transfer your video. USB is for stills image or low resolution video only.

Does the computer you're intending to do the transfer with have a FireWire card?
