Canon HF10 Camcorder

Hi, This is my first post as I have just joined today.

I recently purchased a Canon HF10 and I am very pleased with it. I have a Vista 64 bit OS, which is incompatible with the software received with the camera. To view my movies, I have to attach the camera to my HDTV through a HDMI cable, which is very cumbersome. I would like to do some minor editing, music, fades, etc., so I am looking for advice on a good editor compatible with Vista 64 bit.

Also, I would like to find a way to see my movies in full HD by the use of the SD card or a DVD from my computer to my HDTV without the camera, and without a loss in quality. How can I do this, and what equipment do I need?

Thank you and Regards, gkenny5.
