HD Camcorder for under £300?

Simple question.
I want a camcorder that will film High def for my family holiday.
mainly a small point and shoot, nothing too fancy.
Looking for under £300 and I am not too bothered about if its the latest model.
I assume it would have to be a memory card model but open to any suggestions

Cheers guys.

Chris

Re: HD Camcorder for under £300?

I think your options are limited to the Flip HD or The Sony webbie, both are around £200.

Thanks for your reply.
What would be the next step up from these?

Many thanks

Sanyo Xacti HD1000, 1080p, 60fps, small compact point and shoot, records straight to SD Card.

Sanyo Xacti HD1000 would be a good choice -- but where can you actually buy it now?
