Re: How do I convert NSTC to Pal

As senu said you can use editing software on a PC to convert NTSC footage to PAL, but I would advise you to leave it as NTSC.
Conversion will lead to some quality loss and if done badly can make the footage unwatchable with movement jumping on the screen etc. If you create the DVD on the PC and you player plays NTSC DVD's then you have no need to convert the footage.

Mark.

Re: How do I convert NSTC to Pal

I took mine to a specific video place when I needed some miniDV (ntsc) converted to pal, and they did a great job...

They are called Nottingham Audio Visual, this is their site:
Audio Visual Equipment, Conference Equipment Hire, JVC HD Professional Camcorders - Nottingham Audio Visual, UK

As I remember, they charged my by the length of the footage.
I had an hours worth and it was about £22.

If memory serves!

Re: How do I convert NSTC to Pal

Expensive , i think and for Hi def , not really nessesary

In fact Most DVD players and TVs in the UKplay NTSC natively so the advice to leave it as NTSC may be the best
