Cam footage, what do you think?

I found this footage of the JVC GR D860 on you tube what do you think?

I think its great for the price in some places £140.

But the strange thing is its hard to find any real reviews on this cam anywhere ,a find suggested the GR d850 which at first I was going to purchase but settled for this one instead.

Re: Cam footage, what do you think?

Doesn't look too bad at all, although all of the shots are at the telephoto end, which often has the effect of sharpening things up. I'd be interested to see how it deals with fine detail at the wide end of the lens, too - which is where you'll often be using it.

Re: Cam footage, what do you think?

Hi Andrew

I did see another clip which was next to this on on youtube of kids on skateboards and I thought it came out quite good.

I also read a review of the GR D820 which is the same cam but with slightly less features i.e no video light.

I will try and get some footage myself and post on you tube.
