I managed to get the JVC GR d860 and had a quick try and was quite impressed considering the price, I was in the west end and they are slowly phasing them out.

Picture was great and the sound was very good I noticed that the moter noise was hardly there which is great.

Plus it came with a firewire cable and the battery has a decent life an hour and a half to two hours.

Anyone else here have this cam?
