TDM Torno for COD:WaW Discussion

Deftomes & myself are arranging a Team Death match torno for COD:WaW for 360

Start date 23th May 'Plenty of time to get your fav setup'

End date 30th June

The Rules

League based Tournament

Score limit 750 pts & Game time 10 minutes

Player & Gameplay options all Default

Team options all default except Friendly Fire must be enabled

Any Gun & Perk Combo allowed.

Teams will play each other twice home & away

The Away team always picks the map for the hosting team

You can only pick a map once in the tournament

Minimum team size 3 players (only official Subs allowed)

Max team size 6 players.

Teams can be of mixed size as long as the Captains agree.

Glitching & Rapid Fire pads are a NO NO

End of Game picture also required showing score & kill counts.

Captains must be members of the AV Forums to allow easy match organisation

Scoring

3 points for a win

1 point for a close loss (within 50 pts)

Exact format not yet dicided.

Had 2nd thoughts on the pick your own teams idea though. The last Gears torno was spoilt slightly with 1 team far to good against the rest. Might go wirh a list of players with team captains picking players in private party chat?

Other questions come to mind

Tanks or Not?

Artillery & Dogs?

Team Size?

Maps not to use?

List of merceneries to sub missing players?

Willing to be a team captain?

Open to suggestions

I would say straight up Team Deathmatch with perks on and tanks. Would depend what maps are chosen.
Not sure on Team Sizes, minimum 4 i guess with subs.

I am happy to be a sub in a team if my awesome W@W skills are needed

i'd be up for this too

my only suggestion is to just avoid maps with tanks, especially if its smaller teams but everything else should be fair game i reckon

I like the idea of team captains picking there squads. To make it fair. They just need to do some scouting !!!!!

Also for the group stages I think 1 team hosts and the away team picks the name and then they swop roles for the return leg.

For the knockout stages I don't mind taking up hosting duties so theres no 'host' asvantage.

Just thinking about it, no real point forming teams or putting teams forward until we have the format sorted and rules for the Team tourney.

Teams will be selected by the Team Captains from the list of interested players. Only way to balance the teams fairly.

Team Captain duties will include picking the team & arranging match with rival captain.
