AVF COD4 Tournament

TOURNAMENT SET FOR 30th NOVEMBER 2008 - 9pm - 10.30pm

Right, I know its been semi organised before but with COD5 out in 10 days it might be a laugh to try and crown our own AVF 2008 Champ on COD4. I will post this in the proper Tournaments section of the forum but I want to gauge everyones interest here first. I have an idea for how to structure it and it goes a little something like this.

Players can register their interest here. I want this to be FUN and its open to all, so any of you that are lurking on this thread GET INVOLVED !! It would be a great way meet some of the regulars on here. Can any interested players list their rank and what prestige they are at. Players will then be grouped in the following:

zero to 3rd prestige
4th to 7th prestige
8th to Gold Cross

FFA matches will decide the Champs and the winners from each group will qualify for the Grand Final.

Winner of the Grand Final will be our Overall Champ.

Suggestions, criticisms(sp?) & comments please.

could be a laugh, someone hosting with a very good connection would be a must as well, as lag is probably the hardest thing to play against on this game

Ok, I have a 2mb connection and regulars to the house of Michael Myers will know that it has its moments. If you have a better connection then mine and would be willing to host ( I will organise everything and give you all game setups etc) please let me know.

Get that Xbox sorted mate ! Yeah I did think about doing it as just FFA but that would limit us to 8 players at a time. Now that is me just presuming we are gonig to get lots of interest.....if there is only 8 in each group then FFA will have to do.

Its not a bad prediction but there are quite a few newer members that I have noticed have the Gold Cross. Could be some suprise contenders

Thought on a private match you could have more than 8 people in a FFA.

Haven’t been on this in quite some time, might be time to take it off the shelf, count me in, Prestige10 Level 55.

My suggestion would be FFA but restrict the chopper, don’t know if that is an option.

As for what do you win !?! Well we would need Mod support with this but in the past Tournament champs have had their achievement inserted between their Username and Member Status for all the world to see. I reckon we would need at least 10 players in each group for this tournament to be taken seriously enough to warrant that !

Does that mean your in Mark ?

How would everyone feel about the Grand Final consising of a Max 20 lives FFA ? Just to make it a bit more tense.......

It does not matter if you have do Prestige mode or not, I am a level 55 but can kick a prestige 10 level 55's ass any day. I would have been P10 L55 if I wanted to do prestige.

I should be able to play yeh, depends on the date as some weekends i go home. But put my name in.

Thats a point you say ranks zero - 3rd pestige - what about people that have not gone round again after the first time. I know many people who havent but with the time they have played it (17days) they could of gone round 10 times round.

It should be based on something else

Also happy to host, have a 20MB connection and normally get about 13-14MB from it.
