this happend last night at around 11oclock,
now its not strange, but never thought they did this....

we were in a lobby waiting for a game to start, when a guy joined called simply, Beta tester 2

his gamer card was blank with no score or activity did not even show what he was doing at that moment, his name looked funny too it was further to the right than the others... anyway

he spoke over all of us asking if we dident mind if he asked a few questions, we said no, although thinking what-ever at that time...

the timer in the corner stopped on 19 secs and he started to ask questions and asked for feed back, adding that he was a senior beta tester from trayarch and was one of a team of 5 in the country and had authorisation from tryarch to answer some basic questions...

to put it as simply, he said all feed back and findings submitted is taken seriously and is being fixed as we speak

he added that one of the ppl in the list, (someone on my friends list had a modded controller) and that they were implementing steps to ranked matches that under the new dash board update would see ppl banded for using them for 48 hours...

he said this is the best way to get accurate feed back because most ppl don't have the beta, yet are commenting on what they don't like???

last thing, he said don't go deleting the beta program from your hard drive, because after the game is released there is something special for the people who have the beta still on there hard drives...

this conversation happened over 12 or so mins in the lobby and about 2 or 3 games after he simply said thanks for your time guys.........

sorry for the long post but just wondered if anyone had had a similar experience

Not happened to me yet, but it's good to hear they're being pro-active with the feedback.

I'm sure any means of detecting and banning modded controllers will be welcomed by most

i know who it was, i work with him.... he just doesn't broadcast it, but he knew

he doesn't use it all the time, just in private matches and for fun on the beta

this guy did say that they cant catch em all so to speak but, if your good enough it doesn't matter if they have one or not

Nope, I've still not got anything extra out of this. I'll be leaving it on my HDD until I need the space.

and judging by the size of cod 5 7GB!!!!!!! you wont have alot of space for many more if you have the old 20gig hhd that came with the console!
Have heard that some games in the future will only run if you have it installed on the hdd which will be a pain unless ur able to attach a *ahem* non microsoft one!!!
