Worst player in the world - HELP

No sympathy please, but i am appauling at this game. As soon as i join a session online i'm blown in to a million pieces in a matter of a nano second! I'm that bad that i was laying prone on the floor and actually got meself wedged, all i could hear was laughter. Think some of em felt sorry for me, so left me there suffering. I'm sure I've shot mesel before as well. I just run around like a mindless fool trying to shoot people because i'm so fooking nervous. I always end up in a free for all with really good players! Maybe i've got the remote upside down or it's not plugged in!

I would quite like to join in on the Mike Myers game, but i haven't unlocked the perks - unlikely that i ever will?

Appreciate some tips/advice from some of the great players on here.

You dont need all the perks, i dont have them all.
You can just select the Demolitions class.

I sucked too when i first started...actually i still suck.
I find Free For All hit and miss, sometimes you can be in a game with avg players and have a good round and sometimes you can be in a game with Prestige Level 10 players and get slaughtered.

I found learning the maps helps alot, just keep playing and you will learn them or setup some private matches with a friend and learn them that way.

Also Team Deathmatch is a good game to start in as you have a team behind you.

Just keep playing and you will improve.....i promise

Join in on some of the AVF games as its just alot of fun and most people play for fun

As the game kicks off you just select your class.
Doesnt matter if you dont have the perks, all you need is a Shotgun and a knife anyway and extreme conditioning if your MM.

We are also gonna try some Zombie games too

We've all been there mate. You've just gotta keep putting the hours in the more you play the more you will become familiar with the maps and the heavily trafficked areas and hiding spots and controls. I keep finding new areas of maps each time I play. As boring as it sounds you could try and set up a private match on your own and have a good walk around the maps to get familar with all the nooks and crannies.

Id stay away from free for all or hardcore modes for now. stick to team games where you can stick together and follow teamates. and always be alert your surroundings and how much you stick out stay close to walls and objects and crouch and go prone if you need too. tho stay away from burning cars and tanks!

I am fine now thanks guys. It took all day to get better, and the kids wouldn't get up yesterday as i kept them up. Think everyone in the house was having a laugh watching me try play mm. I really can't remember a thing

The best advice is play, play and play some more. Learning the maps, spawn points etc is key, and the only way to do this is to keep playing.

To be brutally honest I CANNOT STAND noobs who join a game with me.... That is why I would go out of my way to help them in any way I can, Show them round the maps, Hotspots, Campy spots etc.. chat about setting up Classes for specific Maps / Game play styles.....

As I said... I can't stand Noobs... so why not try and help everyone else become a LEET player........ Just like me!

Everybody is bad the first time they play a new game.

Cod4 was the first game i played on live and going to 55 the first time i got my arse well and truely whooped, my k/d ratio was in the negative and i whored juggernaught

. After i prestiged i started using stopping power and followed high rank players to learn from them and promptly got them killed

but i got better and better and i got to where i am now with a possative k/d ratio. it takes work and many hours getting whooped but you will improve over time
