Yeah, took me 5 hours (I've a 3Mb connection) on Wednesday evening from 6pm to about 11pm, guess there was a lot of people downloading it at the same time

It was always going to be quicker earlier in the week, there were still only about 4000 on there early tuesday. Anyone playing now ? Just intrigued to see how much the numbers gone up by ?

Wednesday night around Midnight I saw around 15,500 players online, last night around the same time it was 14,400 players.

So Eurogamer had 15,000 codes & there are about 8000 members on callofduty.com How many codes did the other websites have.....should have been a few given out in the US too ?!?

Mine took 30mins to get from 34 to 37% because I tried to play COD4 at same time. I turned COD4 off and it finished in 5 mins.
Make sure its the only thing coming through your connection/router.

Remember that not all those that got codes are going to be playing at the same time especially because of the time zone differences.

totally, what I think I'm trying to establish is just how many codes have been already made available.
I remember checking the leaderboards last night, a lad in our lobby was 612th in the world.......he had already played it for a total of 3days (ingame stat!!!!)

I set it off DL'ing at lunchtime on Tuesday and left the Xbox alone on the Dashboard.. took about 15 mins, (8mbps with Wanadoo / Orange), played at lunch today and there was around 5500 players in total, probably a few more later tonight.

One guy in my friends list is ranked 162,303 for his score of 81 and 13mins play time. BTW my download took just over 5 mins last Saturday evening.

Still doesnt tally up for me, I am (Guess)estimating with the EuroGamer, COD.com and various other sites there should have been at least 45,000 codes distributed if not more.......Spammy is saying there were 5000 roughly on at lunch, where are all the players ?

EDIT: I suppose the only true test will be on a weekend when most people have time off.

Yea im waiting to see how the lag is. On wednesday night there was not loads of people playing it as far as i could tell and there was a real lag around. So it will be an intresting test for them.
