Lightbulb COD Michael Myers Games - AVForums Group

And I dont mean Austin Powers !

So.....while we are all still foaming at the mouth over the COD5 Beta I thought I would arrange something on COD4 so it doesnt get Jealous !
On Sunday Nights I host a Mike Myers night on COD4 for some mates and AVF boys and it is generally hilarious fun (my missus actually told me to stop "whooping" the other night hahaha ). For those that dont know, Mike Myers is basically a game of hide and seek within COD4 (bear with me ) One player is "Mike Myers" equipped with a shotgun, extreme conditioning and a trusty knife. His job is to hunt down all the other players until there is one man left. No player may kill Mike Myers until you are the last man, then it is an all out one on one to the death. If the Game Timer clicks down to 1 min left any remaining Victims may all gang up to take down Mike Myers.
Once the round is over someone else takes a turn as MM.
On paper sounds simple enough but the games can be brilliantly tense, with the victims all communicating and keeping eachother informed as to where MM is......when he is on your tail though......run !! haha.

So anyone who is interested please have the following ready:

A MikeMyers class that includes:
A Shotgun
Any Sidearm
Any Special Grenades (Mike Myers shouldnt be using Nades !)
Perk 1: Bandolier (useful for big games)
Perk 2: Double Tap or Sleight of Hand
Perk 3: Extreme Conditioning (a MUST)

A Victims class that includes:

A Shotgun
Any Sidearm
Any Special Grenades (You are only allowed to use Stun/Flash or smoke. NO FRAGS)
Perk 1: Bandolier (useful for big games)
Perk 2: Double Tap or Sleight of Hand
Perk 3: EavesDrop (This is so you can hear Zombies or Mike Myers when they are close, Some players like to get into the role!)

Vicitims If you end up getting killed early on there is loads of good banter in the spectator gallery Have a play with the Free camera mode, like watching a TV show !

Guide For Hosts:
The following is a breakdown of rules needed to host both Mike Myers & Zombie games. If anyone has suggestions on how to improve these or point out mistakes drop me a PM, if you make a good point I will edit here.

Mike Myers

Team Death Match must be set for Game Mode.

Time Limit: 10mins (this is of course up to you but I find this ticks games over nicely)
Score Limit: pretty irrelevant

Number of Lives: 1 Life
Respawn Delay: None
Max Health: Normal
Health Regenaration: Normal
Allow Killcam: Enabled
Allow Sprint: Enabled

Spectating: Free (For thos who haven't seen this in action it is incredible ! Makes spectating almost as fun as playing)
Wave Spawn Delay: None
Force Respawn: again irrelevant as everyone only has one life
Radar Always on: Disabled ( set Enabled for quicker rounds)
Friendly Fire: Disabled

Headshots Only: Disabled
Allow Perks: Enabled
Allow Air Strikes: Disabled
Allow Air Support: Disabled
Hardcore Mode: Disabled

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Zombie Games Click this link for a rough guide of Zombie rules and how to play
Team Death Match must be set for Game Mode.

Time Limit: 10mins (this is of course up to you but I find this ticks games over nicely)
Score Limit: pretty irrelevant

Number of Lives: 2 Lives
Respawn Delay: 15 Secs
Max Health: Normal
Health Regenaration: Normal
Allow Killcam: Enabled
Allow Sprint: Enabled

Spectating: Free (See above)
Wave Spawn Delay: None
Force Respawn: Disabled
Radar Always on: Disabled ( set Enabled for quicker rounds)
Friendly Fire: Disabled

Headshots Only: Disabled ( In theory this could be where zombie games come into their own......will test both ways tonight )
Allow Perks: Enabled
Allow Air Strikes: Disabled
Allow Air Support: Disabled
Hardcore Mode: Disabled

***An AVF MikeMyers Gamertag has been created, those interested in joining future MikeMyers games should send an FR to this gamertag AVF MikeMyers****

Join my session @ 22:00 on sunday nights, if we end up with loads of interest then I might have to ask one of the AVF "faces" to volunteer to host another MM room.

If I'm about, sling me an invite, MM is a great game - so funny.

Sometimes play a variation of it with friends, same format but knives only.

Sounds like a great laugh Steve - count me in if I'm online. One q: how do you know, in the heat of the moment, who Mike Myers is? Does it not end up you all just start shooting each other, each thinking the other is MM?

When the game is launched everyone bar MM opts for Marines or SAS (the good guys ) plus it would have been well established in the pre-game lobby ( I like to do it in turns, not winner stays on) So he will show up as a Red Gamertag and you will hear all domination fanboys going "he's at flag B" etc

Oh, he will also be trying to kill you

Re: Hillskill's Sunday Night Michael Myers Party

I'll keep a look out for you on Sunday night, providing my misses hasnt dropped the baby was due on wednesday 15th.

Cheers Stevehillskill for the games last night, didnt think I'd enjoy them but did.

Played in private match and played Mike Myers, one person goes around with a shotgun and extreme conditioning the other just avoid getting killed and cant shoot back just run if found.

When killed and watching other people run for thier lifes was hilarious like something from the carry on films.

thought I was safe on third floor building on countdown map I think (the one with the crashed helicopter). was watching a chase unfold giggling to myself off they went into the blue house then into the bottom floor of the building I was in then I panicked if they come up here im pinned in so made a run for it downstairs out the side door and straight into Mike's shotgun, hilarious. No fun though if you get killed early.

Mike Myers should be added to the playlist

Anybody else played or have any ideas of different game types???

Steve pistols and headshots only will be good as an idea aint tried that yet

Re: Hillskill's Sunday Night Michael Myers Party

Yes currently cant talk when playing as wife asleep next to me when playing, but I can hear you all and more with my brill turtle beach x3 headphones its hard not to scream sometimes at the game tho especially when your playing the yanks.

shes pretty good when she goes to sleep, but i eventually wake her up about 2am in the morning with the xbox still wiring away and I get a clip for it, why cant they make it more quiet??? cant put it in a draw it will overheat

need all the sleep i can get by the sounds of it before baby comes and xbox will be collecting dust, but will try and get on it as much as possible. my cousin sold his, I wont be doing that it will be like loosing a limb.

bad timing as well with all the games coming out over the next 2 months, fifa, pes, gears2, and cod5, nevermind I know what to ask santa for xmas

see you online soon
