How about each team has 3 people on it, 1 player with KD of over 1.3, one between 1.3 - 0.9, then 0.9 and under?

Then we wouldn't have unfairly balanced teams!

how bout a knockout cage match style?

randomly drawn, round matches has to be played by a certain date, game sorted out through here.

Hi guys I would happily set it up if you want me to.

The best thing to do would have small 3v3 matches as mentioned with the KD ratio as part of the seeding system.

I think Seed 1 should be anyone with a KD - 1.30 and over.

Seed 2 KD-0.80-1.29

Seed 3 Less than 0.80

If you guys want me to do this then I will happily set it up...just give me the thumbs up and ill start another thread asking for JUST your KD ration.

There will obviously be a closing date so that after that i can focus on getting the teams sorted.

Obviously would need to know what game type there is to play etc etc.

I'm in for a team torunament.

The old GOW tourneys worked well having squads of 6 or 7 and then you played in teams of 4, rotating your players. That had players seeded as well.

If you're going to do a table system though, to make it as easy and fair as possible you could say every team plays every other team home and away. The home team decides game type, whether or not perks, kill streaks etc. are on or off and the map. That way every team gets to play a map and game type that suits their strengths. I for example would be totally rubbish at FFA or TDM but might be a little better at domination or something like that.

What about just going a total team K/d ratio < 3 rule,

Be alot easier to set up as people can setup there own team.

Each team gets to host, but the non hosters should get to choose the game type and rules etc etc.

Do you think all game types should be in ?

Do you think the game options should be limited ? such as having only headshots etc, or should there be a set off rules that all games have ?

I'd say the fewer rules the easier the tournament will be to run, set up and manage. That's why I'd just say to the home team, set it up how you want it. Every team will play the same number of home and away games after all

I think we should just stick to the standard Rules used in the ranked matches to keep it even.

But having the hosting team setting up a game of their choice would play into the hosts favour...I remember being host on call of duty 4 and my god do you know when your host ?

Also in the event of a draw what would happen to decide who wins....

Im just trying to get all the information together in one forum so that i can create a seperate post with the rules in so people can post KD ration and i can get it under way.

DIEEASYSTEVE...I agree with that, although 3v3 team death match may take a long while to do maybe reduce that a bit.

i think its best to keep the game mode rules the same as they are in ranked matches. As everyone will be used to them.

I don't know to be honest mate, I'm just having a really boring day at work and chucking ideas at this is far more interesting I should really just leave it up to the people who have played a COD tournament before really as they'll have some experience

Hello There, I'm not good enough for tournaments LOL but you can add me if you want to play with fellow AVF members, just make sure you add the clan tag in the game to AVF otherwise if you join a room full of AVF members you will be asked to leave........ politely of course :
