The MW2 negative equity K/D thread

Theme of thread: A place for those of us with negative equity on our K/D's a chance to compare scores and monitor any improvements (or God forbid, a decline!).

Rules: You are only allowed to post your stats for as long as you remain in negative equity. The moment you go into positive equity you can no longer post your stats! Of course, if you miss us just die a few times and get back in negative equity again

Well, my stats are slightly better than yours (although still in the red) so I won't bother posting. Not sure whether to wish you good luck to win the competition or not

Because I was used to MW1 using a mouse rather than a controller, my initial few days on mw2 were spent learning how to aim. I had a ratio of around 0.55.

Now I'm getting there and I finish with a positive one each game more often than not, but it's going to take a while to get to the 1:1 level!

This time last night it was about 0.7ish and I believe tonight it's 0.87. I've a difference of about 400 kills to achieve and it's mine!

Mine's ridiculous at the moment... I think I need to get like a 900 kill streak to bring it back to 1:1...

worst thing is that I have killed myself twice with my own care package crate

I was 0.6 for a good while and over a hundred kills behind from playing the team based games, I changed to Free for All and slowly got more used to the controls and have caught up.

You guys who have posted will get better, if you still have the same ratio after 3000 deaths then worry, but a lot of it is just getting used to the style of MW2 MP.

Surprised my accuracy is so high, I'm a run and gun bullet sprayer solely using the FAMAS

Despite playing for an hour and a half with the regs on here my stats are the same as we were in a private game, so no xp! I did pretty good too

I'm currently rockin' these stats:

Kills: 949
Deaths: 1035
Ratio: 0.92
Highest Streak: 7
Accuracy: 16.13%

Quite pleased with that really as the K/D and accuracy have been slowly rising each time i play and are better than my COD 4 stats, apart from the Killstreak which i need to improve by 9 or 10.

I just wish i didn't give a sh*t about my K/D ratio! Hopefully when i get the elusive, positive ratio i won't care anymore and can just enjoy the game 100%, but i fear that won't be the case

I'll have a look soon but i'll deffo be in this club! The AVF boys will know of my poor skills, plus last night i just used a riot shield for a whole game of domination so that couldn't have helped!

ratio and accuracy are rough guesses but fairly close. i will post the proper ones when I get home in about 10-15 mins.

Im on 0.75 at the moment, but I always finish in the top 3 on the leaderboard in HQ and Demolition. I think the K/D ratio means nothing really.

I just think people with high ratios spend most of their time camping or sniping and that bores the **** out of me

Finally a stats based thread I can post in without being laughed at.

These stats have actually fallen in the last few days (K/D has never been above 0.75 though) since the lag started to really hit me, it's getting so bad that for two nights in a row I have given up, even resorted to COD4 last night which was wonderful and lag free in comparison.

I too often end up scoring well in objective based games, but always with a poor K/D, I guess that probably has something to do with actually grabbing the objectives rather than sitting there playing every playlist as though it's TDM and touching myself over my K/D ratio. FFA I normally come out in the top three when lags not an issue and normally with positive K/D, so I guess it's not as bad as it could be.
