Single player FPS drops and micro-stuttering

I'm getting pretty noticeable framerate drops on the 360 version of MW2, it seems to go from 60fps to 30fps with lots on screen, I don't remember COD4 ever dropping below 60fps, is this normal or is there something wrong with my new Xbox?

I've noticed framerate drops too, especially on 'The Enemy of My Enemy'. I also have the game installed to my HDD.

The game certainly looks great, 60 to 30fps is very noticeable on a large LCD though

Re: Single player FPS drops and micro-stuttering

There was a Digital Foundry framerate analysis for MW2 and it dropped to 34 fps or so in intense moments, so I guess this is normal, the stuttering is a tad bit annoying though.

Re: Single player FPS drops and micro-stuttering

I have noticed some framerate drops in the most intense parts of the SP campaign, but none on Spec Ops or MP.
