Potential Scam? It looks it to me...

Yesterday i got two messages from someone advertising that IW were doing a competition to win all of the weapons, killstreaks, perks etc

The things that ring alarm bells to me are:

The site is not on IW's domain but on a free hosted subdomain called t35
I cant find any mention of the competition on the IW site
The "competition" site mimics IW's site and all links work but go back to IW's domain - eg out of the t35 subdomain
They arent just asking for your gamertag they want your email address and password

For reference the site is: http://infinitywardcompetition.t35.com/

I would not advise entering your details or anything

Anyone else had similar messages or an opinion on this as it just looks plain dodgy to me

Re: Potential Scam? It looks it to me...

I just left them a nice little message in the email and password fields (the password field that doesn't even black out what you've typed in it.)

It's not big or clever, but anything that gives them more crap to sift through before picking up valid email details can only be a good thing.

Just read the content, it's littered with spelling mistakes.

"Hey everynoe,"

"In Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2, what is the highest ran you can achieve."
