MW2 Sensitivity

With COD WAW my sensitivity was set at 6-7 now on MW2 I have to set it to almost Insane.

On WAW Insane was just plain rediculous and way too fast, is this some kind of feature on MW2 where they have toned down the sensitivity or is it just me?

Re: MW2 Sensitivity

I have my sensitivity set to "understanding and empathetic, yet masculine at the same time".

Re: MW2 Sensitivity

Seriously, mine's at 7, and it's fine for me so far. I'll probably up it a bit when I get more used to the game.

Re: MW2 Sensitivity

I just play at the default settings (i pretty much do on all shooters actually).

Prefer slower aiming systems though after getting used to games like killzone 2 this year. Makes you feel like you are aiming a gun rather than just moving a target around the screen.

I personally think the sensitivity should change according to how heavy the gun you are carrying is (if it doesn't already, only had a couple of hours play so far).

Re: MW2 Sensitivity

I think mine was on 7/8 for MW, i put it on 8 after it being the default (and dying alot!) it was too quick for me so its back down to 7 again!

The games unplayable with the default sensitivity for me!

Re: MW2 Sensitivity

There's sensitivity settings....

I've played with the default settings on all the FPS games I've played. :god

Re: MW2 Sensitivity

I spent so long playing MW1 with the default settings, when I found you could change it, I didn't like anything other than default.. I find the default on MW2 to be fine aswell.

If anything, i'm doing better on this one that I did on the previous one in terms of where I come in the game.
I never came first on COD4, but have done twice on this one.

valid point but if you're carrying a heavy weapon like a browning in waw all it did was make you sprint a shorter distance and slower, it did not affect how fast i could turn and kill someone which is to do with the sensitivity setting. As I never played MW1 too much I am still getting used to the gun category's as they are pretty much the same in MW2.

Re: MW2 Sensitivity

Mine's set to Medium, though I'd like to lower it a bit. Setting it to 1 sensitivity is just plain silly - it's SO slow! Guess I'll have to get used to Medium.
