campaign to disable mics in COD4
Lets start lobbying to get the idiots with mics turned off in cod4. Disable the feature .Worst feature on the PS3. I hate having to mute them every time.

Re: campaign to disable mics in COD4
Well I thought the whole mic thing was so you could coordinate attacks and plan strategic advances involving flanking and cover fire... I guess you'll always get losers who use it to say rude things and voice their disdain at having been killed again by your superior tactics and skill. I'd take them as a compliment.... I do!

Re: campaign to disable mics in COD4
Very true, but it would be nice to mute them in the lobby and they stay muted in the game.
I usually only play hardcore S&D and it's all about getting to a certain point in the shortest time to keep the element of suprise, but if i have to mute players within the game I can't do that on the first round

My point exactly along with the fact that you mute before you move then you go to move and..." you will respawn in the next round"....

Ingame you can by pressing select or was this after the game?
Does make me laugh when your last man standing and you get abuse from people who have ALREADY BEEN KILLED. If they weren't so bad then problem solved
I much prefer playing with all AVF players whether it's the A, B or C team players. You know there will be no abuse thrown at you, and 9 times out of 10 we win
Had some great games last night with mixture of all 3 clans and we dominated the HCS&D winnning most 4-0 / 4-1.

Re: campaign to disable mics in COD4
When I'm in the lobby and there are some losers talking rubbish I'll just press select after choosing my class then mute the lot of them and concentrate on my game!!
Sorry TallPall did try and invite you loads tonight, just I kept getting kicked off, connection interrupted, server full, you name it happened to me tonight!!!

No probs adskin the invite system really could do with sorting out!
I find the amount of idiots with mics increases at late night, might have something to do with all the yanks coming online. Give us regional servers please!!
You do occasionally hear some funny comments though!

Re: campaign to disable mics in COD4
Drives me mad. Especially all the idiots huffing and puffing into their headsets and those with TV's, music and kids in the background.
It's a pain, but you can press select as the game starts (during the countdown) and mute the lot before the game actually begins.
Another solution I use is to switch my headset on and put it in the next room.
I wish their was an option to disable headsets in the game. I don't mind it so much when playing on the 360 as the vocal quality does seem much better and less "blowing" into the mic.

Re: campaign to disable mics in COD4
...everybody probably knows they're doin' it...all it is most likely, is they like to annoy and the simple solution is good manners and common courtesy but that's obviously lacking in certain areas
