Team Kills in Hardcore Mode

I've noticed in MW2 that if a team mate kills you in Hardcore mode a death is registered on your stats.

Does anyone know why this has changed from COD: WAW? Seems very unfair to be punished for somebody else's stupidity.

Also, the three team kills and you're out rule has gone, so when you get a random mouth breather who finds it hilarious to kill you he can continue to do it with the only penalty being a longer respawn and a death on his record, a death that is equally registered on your stats.

I sincerely hope that they get round to fixing this, I can't believe they'd make a conscious choice to make it this way.

If anyone knows anything or has an opinion please share it.

I thought there was now a Hardcore mode with ricochet which means if someone team kills you the bullets bounce back and kills them too?

That seems like a decent way to stop the annoying buggers.

Can you kick someone out mid game? Or only in the lobby?

Don't really know about this one, I've seen it in the playlist but never really looked into it.

On regular HCTDM team kills that are within the first few seconds of a match punish the team killer with a death, along with repeated team kills.

It's not enough really.

To be fair sometimes it just happens. I have had it done to me and I have also done to other players. Jay and I did it loads last night purely by accident and we had a laugh about it. I will try apologise if I do it to a random, if its a mate I just tell them their a casualty of war
